The Water Cooler at Pegasus Park

How Might The Community Engage in Collaboration?

In our project, we defined programming as a system that builds an offering of virtual and in-person events intended to foster engagement and collaboration in the Water Cooler community. The areas of focus were identified to impact collaboration around Programming, Technology and Space.

We identified three pillars for improving collaboration, building trust, creating awareness and finding a rhythm for collaboration in the community.

A Non-Profit Community

Water Cooler is the community of nonprofit and social impact tenants at  Pegasus Park. Organizations receive subsidized rent, access to  philanthropic funds for furniture and infrastructure, and  low-cost amenities and services designed to accelerate their respective  missions.

Curating Collaboration

Our qualitative research process identified three pillars for building a foundation for  collaboration; building trust, creating awareness and finding a rhythm for gatherings in the community. We formed and launched the Connection Committee as a way to engage the stakeholders in planning and organizing a range of events based on social and learning activities.
